yet again FINN has come out with some really amazing options for spring. of course i love the crazy bright colors and crew neck sweatshirts (i continue to be very passionate about those. hoods are so last year. jk) . i had a really hard time choosing my favorites, because the whole FINN collection is so freaking good. check it ooot!

i'm so excited. i have been waiting for the ups guy ever since we got back from magic. jk . i'm being a little dramatic. fluxus is the newest brand to add to our collection. their tees and other knit products are so fab, you almost feel naked when you are wearing fluxus. eat your heart out american apparel.

TARINA TARANTINO was founded in 1995 by Tarina Tarantino and Alfonso Campos. The 1990's were the height of minimalism in the fashion world. Accessories were almost non existent in the pages of fashion magazines and stores. Their colorful and inventive designs were a breath of fresh air for customers that were tired of blending into the fashion landscape.

Girls looking for ways to personalize their own style finally had a choice. They wanted to bring accessories made with the highest quality materials infused with color, sparkle, and unique design into the marketplace. And they believe that there should not be any rules when it comes to creating your own personal style. Tarina's collections had an immediate appeal to girls of ALL ages.

It all began with beads, crystals, sandpaper, inspiration and tons of determination from their one bedroom apartment in West Hollywood and soon they found a charming studio space in West Hollywood and made it official. The studio was soon frequented by celebrities, stylists and fashion editors wanting to get their sparkling fix. Tarina would often be asked to create last minute pieces for stars to wear to their latest red carpet event.

Soon Tarina and her designs were appearing in every major fashion magazine and many TV shows including Oprah, CNN & Access Hollywood. In August 1998 PEOPLE magazine did a profile story on the success of Tarina's hair jewelry. The next couple of years Tarina continued to set trends with new and innovative Jewelry and accessory designs. In 2002, legendary fashion icon Elio FIORUCCI invited them to open a store inside his Italian mega-store in the center of Milan. The TARINA TARANTINO brand quickly became the "must have" with the fashion elites.

we just started carrying Manhatten Portage bags. they are what i would consider to be an indestructable classic and have been around for a looong time. my oldest one is at least ten years old and is in amazing condition. here are my favorites out of our new group. enjoy.

hey kids. we just picked up some AMAZING new jewelry . ak vintage is a portland based jewelry line that uses pieces found at estate sales and antique stores. most of her pieces work for both men and women. we should have all of the goods up online by the end of the day. enjoy.

 

ps. today i am wearing the "i am your voice" necklace. it really works and i plan on using it if i get attacked in a dark alley.

Broder = delicious and adorable

so i might have found a new breakfast favorite. last sunday i went to Broder on Clinton street with the second biggest breakfast snob i know (only second to me of course), my friend Amy Lemon. we ordered three entrees for two little girls and had zero left overs to take home (that's a first). we started off with the swedish pancakes that were not shaped like pancakes at all, they looked more like doughnut holes. see picture above. they provided lemon curd, lingonberry  jam, and maple surup to dip them in. that was great for me because i'm not really a big surup fan. the egg dishes were very flavorful and i really enjoyed the variety of side dishes. you could choose from potato pancakes, roasted squash, or sauteed greens. this place is a hipster version of the ikea restaurant (good looking servers included). when i started taking pictures of my food, the people sitting next to us asked if i was a food critic. i was an amateur i said, i was just doing this for a blog. when they asked what the site was, i quickly changed the subject and pretended like i was in a hurry to leave. eek.
